This is a first for me using forum. I have wrenched on cars for over 30 years as a hobby and necessity at times. 5.7 vortac so far new timing chain and gears new distributor crankshaft position sensor camshaft position sensor engine temperature sensor coil ignition module plugs wires new battery recent fuel pump compression between 148 and 150 fuel pressure at 63 PSI and holding hot Spark getting 4.48 volts to sensor wires this far that's what I know can anybody help me please . my next step call AAA take it to a mechanic? That would hurt so bad "my pride" "my friends would know" the tow truck driver would laugh he's towed so many of my friends cars in here to be fixed. ...

 

My 2001 Denali would need the security system reset from time to time. It would cause a no start like you described. To reset the system turn the ignition on (lights on dash come on) and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then turn off remove the key. Now try to start the engine.
