What to look for in 78 Biaritz purchase
Looking at one around $3000. Odometer 39,000, I am assuming 139,000. Typical "oh we found it in a barn" story by seller, it does have clean title.
NO external rust. Very minor blisters in a lot of the chrome. Factory undercoating still intact. Looks like it was off the road for a batch of years. Owner said he drove it home 3 hours on highway no problems.
Interior decent, power seats flaky. Windows work. Oil needs changing, tranny fluid does not smell, no oil in rediator or water in oil.
What should I be looking for that is particular to the car? It's been a LONG time since I had a 425 ....... car is not on the road but tranny seems ok driving around the lot ....
thanks
