One of the most enjoyable car events I can think of, that happens a few times a year for very little cost.

[ul]Any Year Corvette
Any Year Porsche
Pre 1975 Volkswagans
Pre 1957 Street Rods
Pre 1975 Collector Cars[/ul]

RE: Classic cars only - The Pomona Swap Meet

cars, parts, girls, cars, food, girls, sun, more cars, more sun, and then more cars .. did i also say parts?

you will most likely see the car of your dreams, begging for a new home. people that spent their life working on these cars, in need of some cash, or dont have the room to keep them, or the wife gave the ultimatum to choose ...

bring ONLY what you can spend, leave credit cards and check book home .. you will want to spend all you got.

the temptation here is beyond control.

There were afew classic cars made on a basic production line, depending upon what you classify as " Classic ",however, most were done by much handcraft work. Often a chassis and engine were specified and then the body type and specifications were done by a body maker and fitted to the chassis. Rolls Royce of course did that, but so did Cadillac, Lincoln, Packard and numerous other companies (especially on into the1920's and 1930's).
