ballast in my Cadillac XLR 2009

Hello Friends,
The ballast in my Cadillac XLR 2009 is not working for the last three days, and my mechanic has suggested to replace it. All the research I have done to find this product https://www.xenonplanet.com/16533089...d-ballast.html .I’m not sure would you suggest that I replace the Xenon Ballast?
