How to disable intermitment wiper(Rainsense)
 

After replace a windshield, my Cadillac STS 2008 Intermitment mode become active together with Rainsense system. Dealer try to replace rainsense module, control, windshiled mounting bracket, they still can not turn of the intermitement mode as it suppose to be off. Rainsense using the intermitment adjust for it sensitivity adjustment and disable the intermitment mode. GM field engineer thinking the windshield itself since it is after market, so he plans to replace the windshield with GM windshield.
I think it may be a simple control setup or something to disable the intermitment mode when rainsense is present.

Charlie you have an 08 so I'm assuming you're still under warranty so don't sweat it let GM figure it out.

I know GM has to fix it but I am just wonder why they have to go this far and take so long and still not figure out yet! Just get the design team, read drawings, look at the codes ..

Aftermarket glass would make condition a non-warranty concern. The glass can be different depending on HUD or "Rain-sense" glass companies normally want to know about options before ordering glass. If it turns out to be related to glass - hopefully you can work it out with dealer, glass co. and insurance co. / all parties involved for a positive resolution. Good Luck!
