Help Head gasket
 

I have a 2000 STS and it was starting to start a little rough but once you got going it was fine. Received code P0301 bank one misfire. Took it into the shop and they said that # 1 is leaking a little coolant and that its $4500 to fix. Any other ideas out there?? car has 108000 miles on it and does not give me any other problems. Just do not want to spend that amout of money.

Try flushing your coolant add fresh Dex-Cool with distilled water ratio and ADD AC DELCO COOLANT SYSTEM PELLETS go to any GM family dealership in your area and buy at least 4 packets. It's a much cheaper approach and also a fair shot. If it does not then the investment is not so taxing.
