RE: Fuel filters and fuel pumps

Hey there Peace: On the subject of your fuel filters, recommendations for service are every year or 15,000 miles. More often is better of course, I try to do mine once in the spring and once in the fall. On the pumps, you can generally get at least 5 years out of a pump but you generally don't change them until they go south on you. You will notice jerky and reduced power on the engine. It is such a nasty job to do yourself that you do it as little as possible. If you do however decide to change it, remember to remove the neg. battery terminal cable before you start, we wouldn't want any sparks when doing that job!!!!Good luck.
