What i came to notice on this seville 98-04, that you cant "JUST RUN FOGS" unless somehow i once heard, by jumpin somwthing in fuse box-not sure what or how-or if its even correct, just a long while back i head that. But i do know you can only do the following combos currently: Daytime running lights (norm op); fogs-amber-DRL (daytime) ; fogs-amber (dusk/sunset/night) ; DRL-amber(daytime) ; headlights-fog (anytime).

*6000K HID Headlamps~~~plenty~~~~light
*6000K HID Foglamps~~~~~~~~~of~~~~

99... are you saying when it starts getting dark, (dusk/sunset/night) and you push the fog light button, your DRLs shut down? honest there have been times that has happened on mine (DRLs off) and never realized the time of day and the light sensor being the issue... ill have to check-make-sure. thanks

you can FOOL the sensor .. trow a rag over it and it will think its nighttime.

Yes rick, the DRLs will shut off, or will go off automatically if its still to early and both are on, you can notice the switch actually that DRLs shut off as when it happens or when press the fog button the dash will dimm down slightly, and if only fog button pressed "headlamps suggested" will pop up as well. It should be like that on all them unless maybe something wrong or other issue.
BTW thanks for help on O2 sensor issue, I hope to get that looked at monitor pcm etc.

Yes stomper exactly, i put my hand or rag over it to test it sometimes depending what i was messing with etc. I noticed mine cracked, the outside shell from extreme fl heat here and actually stopped working for a short time then came back. weird
