Adaptive Cruise Control

I have an 05 STS with the Adaptive Cruise Control. I have a few questions about its operation. First, is the green cruise indicator suppose to light up in the instrument cluster when the system is engaged? Second, will the system work like a regular cruise without the HUD on?

RE: Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive cruise only operates with HUD. You could try it without the HUD if it works it will be standard cruise control.

RE: Adaptive Cruise Control

I was wondering how the system is suppose to operate? The owners manual is very vague about it.

My cruise will only work if the HUD is on, so then it is using the ACC.

What about the indicator light on the dash...is it suppose to come on?
