'97 STS Gas Smell

I have a '97 STS. As of recent, there has been a very strong smell of gas. There is no evidence of any leak. The smell is strongest on the front passenger side and can smell inside of the cab. Is this a sensor, spark plugs, exhaust? Has anyone experienced something similar. Thank you!

RE: '97 STS Gas Smell

here are some causes of gas smell:

* leak in fuel feed or vent line.
* tank overfilled!
* Evaporative emissions system canister clogged.
* vapor leaks from system lines.

have it checked to avoid future problems. if you need some parts replacements, you can browse Auto Parts Discount, they have lots of parts for various models at a discounted price.

Check the inline fuel filter or the connections to the filter.
