06 STS Navigation problem
 

Hallo everybody. I've got problem with my navigation unit. There is on the screen information: "CAUTION, cannot load System Software.
Disk type incorrect. Please insert correct System disk". No nav, no cd, no car menu. I've got original dvd PN 15924195, but it doesn't boot. Maybe you know where can I find the software disc? Thanks

Check ebay.They have lots of disc's at different prices and/or different versions.


ok as far as I know these will work in your STS.
1.0V.....PN#10381281.....05 DISC
2.0V.....PN#15794606.....06 DISC
3.0V.....PN#15924195.....07 DISC
4.0V.....PN#25852830.....08 DISC
5.0V.....PN#25976806.....09 DISC
All of the above disc will work in the STS'. It just depends on what version you get. The later the version the more updated the info/POI.
Looks like you have the correct disc...maybe its bad or the nav unit is bad or needs to be rebooted?

Thanks for the answer. I've got the original disc with the maps, but I need firmware cd. Probablly it's two CDs only with firmware.

Did you ever get your Nav issue solved? My '05 Nav is doing exactly what yours did. Need some kind of firmware upgrade. Thanks in advance.
