2012 Cadillac SRX Idling Oddly at Stop
 

I bought a used 2012 Cadillac SRX back in March of this year and it recently started idling oddly sometimes when at a light. The car is in drive and the car seems to go a little below 1 or the RPM gauge, feeling like it's close to stalling but it picks itself back up and then idles normally for a little while. It may do it again depending how long I am at the light. After some research, I was guided in the direction of using a fuel additive so I bought BK44 which seemed to be one of the best. I have not used it yet as I am doing more research and finding that Cadillac recommends you don't use any additives. Has anyone else had this problem? Solution? Should I not use the BK44? Other recommendations of what may be going on? Any help is appreciated!

How many miles? Try cleaning the intake (don't flip the butterfly without disconnecting first) and a bottle of fuel injector cleaner.
