2010 SRX Radio/NAV
 

Ok so while researching the 2010 srx before purchasing I regrettably did not come across the Radio/NAV issue that all of these seem to have. Come to find out Cadillac knows very well about the issue but only issued a Service Bulletin rather than a recall and why the previous owners did not get this fixed is beyond me. So now we're out of warranty and stuck with this issue. Someone suggested contacting a dealership to see if possibly they would offer a discount or something since they know this is a factory defect but the closet cadillac dealership is a couple of hours away and just wanted to get any opinions first. I'm hoping the Caddy social media guys will chime in with some advise. If the dealership/Cadillac is not willing to help the next option is to get a 2011 model from a salvage yard which looks like may be at least $500-$700 plus still having to take it to a dealer to have the vin programmed. We thought we were buying luxury and Cadillac reputation but this has left a sour taste from our first GM purchase. I know it's not new but when they come from the factory like this something's not right at HQ.
