WHEEL WOBBLE AT 50MPH

I have a very nice 2002 SLS the car has 124k. I just purchased the car a month and a half ago. I spoke to the prevous owner however he was not very helpfull.

The steering also seemed to have a flat spot (or slight bind) just slightly off center. So I took it to a GM dealer who replaced the rack and pinion and of course performed a alignment. So now the bind or flat feed back area is gone or fixed. However from the begining at 50 miles per hour the front end begins to wobble slightly up to about 60 miles per hour. This past Saturday, I had the tires balanced and replaced a left front hub and axle bearing. The tire balancesmoothed things out, however I still have the wobble, which is amplyfied with increasedthrottle. The car has some very good Michelins on it.

The thing that puzzles me is if it is a tire belt or half shaft joint, why would it only come "in" at 50MPH?
aside from some wind noise in the drivers window, the car is very quite.

My biggest fear is the axle joints. Thank you for your thoughts
