I am proud to say i own an SLS a 1997 SLS i got the car about 2 years ago when i was 17 for $2300 cash. Its a good car thats never bonked out on me ever, although i have gotten plenty speeding tickets driving it! (I've since calmed down after getting my lisence suspended for a year). The only real problem area is that the thing leaks oil like crazy. 2 quarts every 2 weeks is what it takes. Other than that its been great. smooth riding car, and although its a 13 year old car it still has some modern feel to it. Im getting ready to sell it tho only because im going to upgrade to a 2001 deville. I havent driven and STS before but they look like the younger mans version of my car... i probably should be driving an STS since im only 19 ha. If your a family man Id say the SLS is your best route
