possible transmissions problem?

YEsterday before i went to work my car was driving fine and about 10min into my drive my car felt as if it was taking offin second gear. It felt like i had my TSC button hit by accident but when i pressed it nothing would happen. In the past i have set my 32oz gatorade bottle there and it would sometimes hit the buttom but i had the driver info tell me tsc was on or off. This time i had nothing on there and i even hit the button and nothing on the DIC would show up to tell me if it was on or off. So i got to work and after i got off of my 8 hr shift i drove it around before i went home and it was fine. Anybody have any ideas. No codes or anything were found, so i though maybe someone has had the same experience or know what may be the culprit. Maybe my car just had a brain fart too.
