Out of control outside temp

Hi All.............Anybody know if there is a reset or something to change the outside air temp reading? Mine is currently at 138 degrees F and still climbs a couple degrees a week, i tried disconnecting the battery, that did not work
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Scott

The reading updates itself if car is parked on hot black parking lot it can read too high. Typically sensor is located behind grille it has a 2 wire connector and wires are green and black you could disconnect it and see if temp changes. you will want to have key in off position and you may need wait a few minutes for it to update.

I had one fail on an SSEi that I owned- it read 126° on a week in April...In NY.
Located behind the grill like Slowroll stated, plug & play. Took longer to find it than it did to replace it.
