Hub Replacement Cost

I havea 2000 STS in need of a right hub. If I take it to the dealer to get it done how much can I expect to pay? No warranty... Other than doing it myself, where is a good recommended place to get it fixed???

RE: Hub Replacement Cost

it depends on if it is the right rear or the right front but here is the skinny of it all.

Right front: part number- 12429204
cost- $323.46
time for labor- 1.3 hours
Right rear: part number-7470555
cost- $359.44
time for labor- 0.8 hours

Now all you have to do is find a good shop and find out what their labor charge is per hour and you are set

That's great info, theruerebel!
The O.P. needs to take into account the mark-ups on the parts, unless he finds a mechanic who will install his parts and does not mark up labor ;).
