I have just bought a 99 Seville STS and I have had it happen twice already where I have the vehicle in park for no more than five minutes or not even that long and it just turns off. Nothing pops up on the information screen saying anything is wrong either. Can anyone help me out? It doesn't do this all the time either.

 

It did this while at a stop light as well, in drive.

 

make sure there is no air leaks and that the throttle body is clean
seems like it happens after you take your foot off the pedal

 

also, how many miles on the engine? has the timing chain been replaced?
