E-Ghosts Solved

Hello, Well I just got back from a trip over the Holidays that included a nearly 2,000 mile roundtrip drive in my 1999 seville sts. Two days before
I left, I bought, and replaced the RIM, and all the problems have gone away. No more gas guage dropping to empty, no more DIC lights turning off, no more temp gauge shooting to HOT, then back to normal.

I still have several issures I believe are un-related to the RIM. The tilt-telesope wheel, and moonroof quit working. When I pull fuse #7 (I think that's the number) they will again become operational, but then will again quit working. The fuse looks good, so I think maybe i just need to clean the contacts.

Any way, Thanks for all the help, and suggestions all of you have given me, this has truly saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Thanks,
Darren

Great to hear, I can only imagine your previous frustrations. You might want to consider swapping that #7 fuse with another of same size just to make sure the one you have in there is good or not, might be something wrong even though it works.....Just an idea....

Great feedback! Thank You!
