Door problems

My 2001 SLS suffered a front collision- a new "used" bumper cover and she was as good as ever. BTW the crash bar under the cover is built like a tank.
But my rear passenger door no longer functions-no lock or window capability and the car fails to recognize the door being open-no interior lights activate. This was discovered shortly after impact.

My first thought was to remove the door panel and look for a broken wire/connection....

I never heard or RIM or FSM before..

I still have a minor coolant leak, when replacing the bumper cover, there was a small pool of coolant just in front of the driver's side tire, on the inner fender. The reservoir/overflow container and immediate hoses are like new. This is a 55K mile car.

Used 3M's headlight restore ~$15 kit to buff the headlights-they are like new. Replaced one headlight 9006 bulb with a LED upgrade to compare the difference-WOW. For $35 @ Amazon I have HID or better performance.
