AC charge.

Nother ? on my 00 STS. Ac works well, but is starting to get pretty warm when I stop or am sitting in high traffic. This a sign of a charge needed? Is nice and cold when moving.

RE: AC charge.

Most likely low system pressure.
Could also be a high speed fan problem or a weak compressor.
Gauge readings would be needed for further diag.

Hey thanks. Was wondering whether it was worth taking in. You think I need to go to a dealer for that? Prob not?

You would be surprised that lots of times the dealer isn't that much more than an aftermarket shop.
Dealer prices on parts are usually the largest price difference as it is new from GM parts instead of
Who ever was the cheapest rebuilder that month.
And you "should" be getting service from factory trained guys that know your car inside and out.
Many times you actually save money be getting it fixed right the first time instead of someone just kind of guessing at it.

If you have a mechanic you trust (dealer or aftermarket) thats who i would stick with.
