Hey all! new to forum but not working on cars. I recently aquired my grandmothers 2002 sls with 95k miles. Car runs great but I have a few issues that I would love to fix. first the cruise control will not come on. if I hit cruise on steering wheel bottom left the button lights up but no gauge indicator light to say its on. and if I hit set it does absolutely nothing. second my blower doesnt work. 3rd I only got the valet key as my grandmother lost her other keys. I bought two new keys and an alarm fob but can these be programmed diy or do I need to go to dealer? anyway I am sure I will find more issues but these are most important right now. look forward to hearing input.

Dealer for keys and fabs, unless you have a capable Tech 2 scanner. As far as the rest of the issues, I would start at the fuse boxes and look for bad fuses or relays, You could test your blower motor if you run a test power line to it to check functioning motor. Also, make sure all of the electrical plugs are well seated. Good luck.
