Fair Market Value

Stealth or whoever, what would be a Fair Market Value for a 93 to 96 Allante today with average mileage and in reasonably good condition? The reason I ask is there is one sitting at my Cadillac dealer. I haven't been close enough yet to tell a whole lot about it but wanted to be equiped with a number when I do approach them.

Thanks.

Cadillac Allante Fair Market Value

There are no cars after '93.
it has to be '87 to '93.

Dealer sells a '93 at $8,000 to $14,000 .. even higher when mileage is under 40,000.

- hard top
- soft top
- mileage
- condition
- leaks
- paint
- color
- tires
- leather
- rust
- exterior plastic
- maint records
- history codes
- guarantee

quite a few '93s have ebay sold under $10k in pretty good condition, no hard top.
but ebay is a wholesale medium, not a dealer medium.

sneak over and get the VIN off the edge of the windshield, mileage and general condition and get back to us

Thanks, I will try to get the vin and milage. From the road it looked really good. It is a red convertable with a black top and black interior.

Let me caution you without detracting from the car. I have an 87 that I love.
Owning an Allante depends on a lot of cir***stances. It is not your average Cadillac. You may have to spend a lot of money on the car no matter how good it looks. For a daily driver and for someone who can't treat it as a hobby, I would say it is an iffy car for a woman driver. Especially if finances are limiting.
We've had some "grad" students begging us to help them sell their cars.
Good luck, they are beautifull.

As it turns out, I was a little slow and one of the techs snapped it up at what was probably an excellent price. I recently purchased an '02 Eldorado ETC and am spending money on it to put it back into "perfect" condition. I have always loved two door Cadillacs but this isthe first Cadillac I bought. I was looking at the Allente for my wife who likes convertables. I'll keep my eye open for another one.

If you do get one, check back here for ragtop operation and all things allante. Pretty cool car but does need to be maintained and TLC. But you can run her hard.....Good luck.
