Window

I recently purchased a 89 Fleetwood and now the drivers side window came disconnected from the raising mechanism and will no longer go up or down. (the motor works) the linkage disconnected.
I am looking for a diagram to see if there are any parts that I need to order to make the repair. (like if there is a clip to connect the linkage)
The car is at my winter home in Florida and I am 2000 miles away, so I want to find parts and bring with me to make repairs.

Block on regulator is likely to be broken; of course there is no way to know until someone gets door panel off and sees what happenned. You should be able to find what you need in Florida new or used. Lots of Cadillacs down there.

I had a 1989 Sedan Deville, and the same thing happened. You will need to pull the interior side of the door off to see what is needed. With ours, it was the part that holds the window to the regulator. When we went to NAPA, they would only sell us the entire regulator, but we went to Advance Auto Parts, and they sold us the small plastic piece. But, looking at the entire regulator is the only way to find out.
