Trunk pull down switch

What is a good replacement for the trunk pull down switch in my 1993 fleetwood, the part is no longer available. The part number is

AC Delco 2871-05402399

could i rig up a brake pedal switch maybe? What have you guys done to solve this problem. Thank you.
