klunking when letting off gas pedal

hey all, when ever i drive my 94 fleetwood ill be cruising down the road, i guess about 40mph. and when i let off the gas pedal completlythe car klunks. it kind of feels like its coming from the tranni or engine. Ive got 114k miles on the car. already changed the tranni fluid and filter. it looked fine. i have to realse the gas pedal slowly for it not to klunk. Its a hard enough klunk to shake the whole car but its not really loud. ever heard of something like this before? could it possibly be some vacuum lines?

Universal joints on driveshaft, no big deal.

You know I'm second guessing myself now after re-reading your initial post. You have a 700R4 transmission I believe and it may be your lock up torque converter that is disengaging when you let up on the gas then engaging again once you accelerate again. About the only thing a backyard mechanic can do on a tranny is change the fluid. Best to get to a shop and get it diagnoised.

ive got another problem, whenever im going slow about 5-15 mph the car kinda shakes like its about to crap out. You think it could be the same problem. Its only when im barely pushing the gas pedal going slow. like parking lot speed.
