Doors Won't Unlock! (1979 Cadillac hearse)
 

Hi, guys, new to the forum! I have a 1979 Cadillac Superior hearse, which I bought for $100 out of somebody's yard. It needs a lot of work.
The driver's and front passenger-side door both refuse to open. While the keys unlock every other door on the car (two second-row doors and the rear door for loading/unloading the casket), they refuse to unlock the front doors. It is a very rusty car, and I have reason to believe the power-lock mechanism might be jammed/rusted shut.

My questions: How can I them to open? Is there a way to open the interior door panels up and get at the innards?

Don’t know if you ever got doors open but the one way to try is to some way remove the inside door panel to physically manually operate the lock rod and release rod but with that said it’s a task in itself just to get the panel off with the door closed
