84 fleetwood no power at fuel pump

1984 Fleetwood limo 6.0L parked it ran fine sat for a while went to start no start. Did some basic troubleshooting and car will run with gas/starting fluid at TB so lead me to check fuel pump maybe. So at the harness at the plug by tank I found the 3 wires at that plug Black-ground, Pink-sender, Green-positive terminal at the pump in tank, so no power on the green. Im trying to see if anyone has any helpful info of where to look for what can be good place to start or a trouble tree guide. I read in Haynes manual that the is a way to run pump from a test wire with a fused jumper to 12V but didn't say color/location of wire figured if I have that I can get power straight to pump to see if it runs then I know just not getting correct voltage. Thanks
