4.1 engines

Is it true you can eliminate most of the problems on it by putting a hight voltage dist and wires with bosch plugs. Because they tend to carbon up using original? Did they have a valve problem that you have to use motor honey in it? Minew is popping through carb and code says rich mixture.

Number one it has no carb!! number two, popping thru the throttle body usually means a damaged, flat camshaft. that requires an engine replacement. This car already has a high energy distributor and wires.
