1966 fleetwood alternator wiring help needed

Thanks in advance for any help. I just purchased a 1966 Fleetwood Series 75 sedan. Non running. One of the problems is an electrical issue. The alternator is locked up and the wiring is new. It doesn't seem to be correct. Also, there is a big pull on the battery when I attach the lead. So I removed the hot wire from the alternator while checking the basics. In short. Can someone please post pics of their wiring? I think the previous owner made a couple mistakes. The car hasn't been run since 1989. So I have many things to check.
Thanks Again in advance,

It's been 30 years since I had a 1965 coupe, always liked headlight over headlamp designs.
Don't remember wiring to alternator, but I think it wasn't too hard, however I had a short issue.
Right under the driver feet under the carpet runs the main supply voltage to rear lamps.
It's a flat cable and years up heel wear caused it to short and start to burn padding under carpet.
Also, there was a voltage anomaly to headlamps and various body lamps, it was a ground wire around engine compartment
that became corroded.I don't remember where it was, just be aware.
I have a broken down '80 my favorite style, and now a '96 limo which will be in all likelihood the last time i get a Caddy
