Where you able to get the 2 horn chirps after switching the parking lights on/off 3 times?
If you can't get the first tire to chirp the horn i can narrow it down to 3 possibilities. 1) the sensor in the 1st tire is no longer working properly( try starting the procedure with a different tire) 2) some other part of the system has a problem (reciever, module, wiring ect.) 3)you just are notfollowing the procedure properly If you enter the tire relearn process and cannot complete it for any reason the SERVICE TIRE MONITOR message will display until all four tire sensors have passed a relearn procedure. |
RE: service tire pressure monitoring
First, thank you very much for your help in this matter. Yes, I get the two horn chirps, and the procedure when on ok to the second tire, the next tire didnt work. I will try starting with a new tire. Im sorry for posting this issue on different areas, I will stay on this one. How can I troubleshoot the different components. In the last result, Can I delete this application from the car without fixing it? I mean the message "service tire monitor"

RE: service tire pressure monitoring
If the procedure works til you reach a certain wheel, then most likely the sensor in that wheel is no longer working properly.
I don't think you can turn this feature off. |
