low speed stalling

im sure this has been discussed before but search doesnt bring anything up. is there a trick to it? the Q45 forum im in has a tricky one as well.

02 ext 70,000 no problems other than leaky trunk cover, leaking ft axel seal, and really expensive struts! but when coasting around a corner after excelleration at low speeds she dies! i have the scanner for the truck i just dont have time to check it out. does the idle speed need to be adjusted? was it set to low from the factory?

also always wondered about the tag in my glove box. "notice to customer, this vehicle has been tested in an accelerated customer survey at the gm testing grounds."

it might have been worded slightly differently but you get the point. anyone else have this?

does this mean my truck was beat on right of the line? thats great! nothin like redline for and hour to break in a motor!

RE: low speed stalling

Sorry, I've never had that problem in the EXT, but a similar problem in an Exporer. In that car, when I slowed down to a stop, it would die on me, but would only require a re-start. I had thought the idle was too low, messed with that, and it didn't help. I eventualy replaced a part my friend swore would fix it (sorry, can't remember what it was) and it was good for a while, then it would stall again, but not as often.

Was your truck purchased new, off the dealer lot? Did it have miles on it when you got it? I'm wondering if your EXT was used in the GM Drive programs that people get to try out the car in special invitation events.
