Front Brake DIY

Hello Group!

Anyone have instructions on how to replace the front brake pads? Found plenty on the rear online but nothing on the front.

Please Advise.

It's pretty much the same as it's always been.

1) Jack up vehicle and remove tire(s).
2) Remove bolts that hold caliper to knuckle or bracket, remove caliper.
3) Remove pads, with suitable tool push piston back in to caliper.
4) If you plan to service rotors, remove caliper mounting bracket, then rotor.
5) Reverse to install, it is important to torque all bolts to proper spec.

Alllright,

I could do all steps sir but the 2nd. I was using a torx 55 socket bit. That old adage "To the left your loose and to the right your tight." didnt work. I couldnt get the pins to move AT ALL! i didnt want to strip anything so I gave up.

Please Advise

Left to loosen, bolts are very tight and have blue loc-tite on threads. 2-3 foot breaker bar does wonders getting them loose.
