1st of all, change out the coolant yesterday. Read our FAQ section, threads on headgaskets and coolant.

Then ..

- Good tires, then inflate about 4 - 6 psi over the door tag .. as long as you dont exceed the sidewall max.
- K&N filter.
- clean out any carbon out of the Throttle intake.
- use the cruise control as much as possible.
- unload anything you dont need to lug around.
- dont fill the gas tank over the 1/2 tank mark except when traveling, fuel weights about 6 lbs / gallon.
- at speeds over 45 mph, keep windows closed.
- play a game of timing .. adjust driving speed to hit every intersection MOVING. start from a dead stop, eats extra fuel.
- avoid SLOWWWW driving, use streets that let you do a steady 35 - 45 mph.

Both SLOWWW and aggressive driving, speeding, rapid acceleration, and braking, costs extra.
