2011 Escalade Front Shocks
I have a 2011 Cadillac Escalade and I was told by the dealership that both my front shocks are blown. They are telling me it's going to cost over $1800 to replace them. I'm sure it's expensive but I never thought it would be that expensive. I'm trying to research this on my own to see if I can buy them and install them myself. But I am having a hard time figuring out what kind of suspension package I have. I have tried looking up the RPO codes but every code I have in relation to the front suspension don't seem to be a match to any shocks that I find. They all talk about Z55 or Z71 as the standards for the escalade but according to my rpo sticker I do not have either of these. Can anyone help me decode my front suspension so I know what I need to buy to replace the front shocks and match them to what I currently have?
All the Z codes on my sticker are as follows: ZRS, ZY1, Z75, Z82, Z95. I can also post my VIN if needed. How can I tell what kind of suspension I have? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
Go to gmpartsgiant.com and do a search using your VIN.
