2004 escalade poor acceleration

I just got a 2004 escalade after having a 2002....this 2004 doesnt have near the acceleration as the 2002 and just doesnt seem as "crisp" almost feels like i'm towinf something, where they know for less acceleration? where should i be looking for the issue?
