07 OEM 22's

I'm buying a new Escalade in a couple months. Is it worth getting the OEM 22's now, if later I'm changing them for 24" or 26"?

Any other options you bought, and don't really need?

I'm not getting the auto running boards. I'm still on the fence for the wheels/sun roof/rear entertainment center.

How does the Bose sound?

I just bought an EXT and they (Cadillac)tried to charge 3 grand for the chrome oem 22s. I opted for the 18s instead. (795$)especially since I'll change the wheels anyway. I did however get every option available. I havnt found one that I havnt liked yet. cept for the steering wheel warmer. (I live in Texas)

I bought a 2007 Escalade last September, with the 22s. I kept them on for the winter and put some 26s on in the spring. Looks hot! I live in Canada so I use the warmers (wheel, seats, winshield wash). I would definately opt for the sunroof as I love mine. Also, if your thinking about getting rear DVD, do what I did and get the monitors in the headrests (its and option from cadillac now) :)The only option I didn't get was the auto running boards cause for some reason I see those screwing up in the snow. As for the Bose, well... they are probaly the best you can expect for stock speakers... just missing some thump. Oh and if your thinking of going with 26s like me, keep in mind that it DOES change the ride.Small price to pay though.

Mr. Furley

Looks like you got some great advice here. That's what this site is all about.

Check with your local Caddy dude to see when they expect the 08's. Check with more than one dealer if you have that option where you live.

Don't buy the stock 22's. They are too heavy. I would rather save money for 24s that are lighter. improve MPG. If you want the stock 22s buy minds. It has upgraded tires TOYOs 305-40-22. The stock tires are horrible.
