1991 Eldorado Biarritz Side Trim and other questions(tires, etc.)
 

Recently purchased a 1991 Biarritz.
It's in fair condition, but one of the main cosmetic issues is that the top part of the side trim, the narrow piece painted in the same color as the car is cracked along all the pieces.
Might be just the paint, but I'll look more into it as soon as I get back from work abroad in January.
Is this a common issue?
How are they made fast? Clips/bolts, or just tape?

Also would appreciate any other input regarding the car. Any special things to be aware on the 4.9 compared to the previous versions, etc.

I've got wire mesh wheels with 205.60/16 tires. They are way old and cracked, so I'm looking to get white walls to replace. Any suggestions here? I've only found a type called Sierra on eBay, but will be looking further.

Trim is held on with clips. I suggest getting Factory Service Manual it will have all you need to know. The 4.9 has many differences from earlier 4100 and 4.5. Head bolts are normally reusable but are discontinued and no aftermarket. Vogue Tyres - Custom Builts several designs white with gold stripe sidewall.
