Floor mat hooks
 

I bought this car yesterday and it didn't have mats. Ordered a set from the dealer yesterday. They came in today and I put them in. When I bought the car there were two hooks for the driver side mat. The mats I received did not have holes for the hooks. Are these hooks removable? I do not want to ruin the carpet. Thanks
