I have decided my next car will be a DTS. My mechanic whom I trust and have worked with for years tells me to watch for "high mileage" Northstar engines. He says oil leaks can sometimes be "sell the car" expensive to repair. My question is then, what is high mileage on these cars? 70k? 100k, 150k? or even 200k? Thanks in advance!

 

Just bought one at 113k and had to replace the oil pressure sensor. Fortunately I do my own work. It was a pain. No leaks now.
