2006 dts

I have a 2006 DTS that will not start. This is the third time this has happened. The first time I was at a friends house, he brought me home. Went back the next day and it started. The second time I was going to work. Fifteen or 20 minutes later it started. Third time, it won't start after trying an hour later, two hours later and eight hours later. All the interior lights work, head lights work, gauges move, turn the key and nothing. I don't hear the fuel pump engage either. I've tried both keys, tried starting in both PARK and NEUTRAL....nothing. No message indicated in the DIC (all three times).

I had this same issue with my 1997 STS. When it happened with the STS the DIC indicated a problem with the theft system, car won't start, remove key...etc. I had to have a new ignition installed, which because the name 'Cadillac' was on it was expensive. Now I have the same issues yet again; however, no such message indicated in the DIC.

This is becoming a bit ridiculous. A Cadillac should be an honor to own, one you can be proud of. Not one you are ashamed of because you are embarrassed of because it won't start, making it unreliable.

Any tips? Suggestions? Thoughts?

I'm beginning to think this is going to be my last Cadillac. I should problem change to a Lincoln.
