2005 DTS electrical problems?
 

Hi all, looking for some help. I have a 2005 DTS, went to start it and it wouldn't start but the car had power. Brought it to a mechanic and they claimed it was the starter and it was changed. Here's where thing get hairy, car still wouldn't start and the mechanic claimed it was an electrical problem and they couldn't find it. I took it to another place that specializes in
electrical and they said it is the harness to the starter? My question is if the car still won't start after that's been replaced, what else could it be? Thanks in advance for any thoughts and suggestions!

Ok Are there any trouble codes? When the starter was changed did it start? The starter is under intake so there's a little bit to check it. Damage to harness should have been noticed when starter was replaced. Unless a mouse made a home under intake I haven't seen that section of wiring fail. The security system can disable starter.
