Tire Life?

I got the Deville with 37K and supposedly new Michelins-no reason to doubt the mother-in-law. I am driving it 30K per year compared to the 4000 per year she put on it! I am at 71000+ now and still have center tread left-edges are getting pretty smooth-5000 miles ago I raised my pressure from 30 psi to 35 psi to promote center-line wear. I expect I will replace the tires by 40000 miles. How's this compare with your tire life?

RE: Tire Life?

It is hard to compare drivers and tire life because we all drive differentey and in different conditions but I try to get 50 - 60,000 kms out of mine so you are in that ballpark and I think that is reasonable.

RE: Tire Life?

I agree with Katzman. However, with regular rotation and proper tire pressure, you should get close to the 80,000 miles Michelin guarantees. Best tires for these cars, love the ride and quietness of Michelins. I couldnt afford them when I bought tires a couple of months ago, but Im going get some after Christmas.
