steering wheel alignment

I have had my 2000Deville aligned several times and it always comes back just a little off center. Canthe dealer make the steering wheel line up without affecting the alignment?

RE: steering wheel alignment

Steering wheel alignment is the last setting the person does when the alignment is completed. So, take it back. Can the dealer correct it? yes by splitting the difference on the outer tie rods like the alignment shop needs to do, except the dealer will charge you.

to answer your question......yes the dealer can... however, have you ever told the dealer about your concern? has he addressed it after the alignment? if your not satisfied, find another place to have it aligned. make sure to tell them you are anal about your steering wheel being dead on... it is one of my pet-peeves also. i know the feeling
