Rear Suspension

Is it normal for the car is leveling light to come on every 5-10 minutes if there is passengers in the back seat? It seems it is working to hard. And no, there is no fat people involved.

Thanks!

RE: Rear Suspension

Normal operation when there is an air leak. Compressor will cycle on, then because the height sensor cannt retain the curb height, it will shut down the compressor to keep it from burning up. You need to visually look at ALL the air lines from the compressor to each rear strut for cuts, rub thru's or the struts air cylinders ruptured.

This typically happens when the air bag has a hole or crack in it. Air suspension always has a problem with it. There is never a permanent fix. I would recommend checking out Strutmasters conversion kits. This converts you from air to powder coated, American made steel, coil springs that are guaranteed to last the life of the car. This is a permanent fix!!!
I posted the link below so you can take a look.

Good Luck!!!
