Please Help

I have a 95 Deville with the 4.9. Three weeks ago my wife drove into town pulled into a gas station and bottomed out the carbefore pulling into a parking place. She sat there with the car running for about15 to 20 seconds shut it off ran into the store came back out and it would not start. Ok I trailer it home and check the codes and I am getting a P012 and P052. So then I go buy an ignition module, no go I check to make sure the key still has resistance to make the security bypass work it is ok. Then I call the dealer and they say ecu. I buy thet and put it on ....still not good. I have the same codes and out 179 bucks. I am pretty good with cars and this is just pissing me off, I did a manual check and I am deffinatley not getting any fire. I am out of options and really don't want to pay the dealer 65 bucks an hour if I can fix it. I would love it if some one could shed some like on the subject for me.

Code 12 on a dfi cadillac is different, than any other GM car.Your lack of spark most likely related.Check pick up coil and ignition module. As far 65.00 per hour in my area its about double that at dealers and 80+ at small shops. So maybe its not so high after all.Hope it helps

Is there any chance that is the hall effect switch? The price for the pickup is 40 and the hall effect is 99 or so. Would I be better off just to by a new distributor or are some of those components missing from a new unit.
