HI Everyone.

Im the owner of 2003 Cadillac Deville and Im truning to you guys for some advice. I also own a 1976 Seville as well and cannot believe haw reliability has deteriorated on our Cadillacs. The issue here is on my 2003 Cadillac Deville which has 6300 miles. First the driver side power window went stopped coming up. Had that repaired at my Cadillac dealer they said it was the motor and it cost $340. They replaced the whole motor. Now the Passenger's side window wont go up. I cant believe this would happen on a 2003 with only 6300 miles. I bought it brand new and it was never involved in any accidents. When I try to raise the window I can hear a ticking noise but the window does not move.

I have an 02 Deville, both front + d/s rear window motors/regulators have been replaced. I owned a 2000 Deville befor this one & never had any motor regulator problems. The dealership replaces both the motor and regulator when the regulator fails. My two fronts were replaced by the dealership under warranty. The d/s rear failed after expiration of the warranty, I replaced the regulator only (ebay - $40).

 

you can get the window regulators from rock auto for 26 bucks. real common problem in the 2000 and newer devilles. poor design.
