Help on '85 Deville 4.1l Starter

I was changing out my starter as the old one was tested and had problems with the solenoid engaging. When reinstalling the new starter, the starter engages and meshes with the flywheel; however, it does not turn the engine over. I have tested the battery, I have bench tested the new starter, all fuses are good, relay is good. My concern is that I did not rewire the wires correctly. There are two heavy gauge black wires, one of which is from the positive terminal in the battery. There is an orange wire, a pink wire, and a brown wire. I know that the pink wire goes on the "S" terminal and the orange wire goes on the "B" terminal with one of the black hot wires. The other black wire i have goes to ground. I am unsure about the brown wire. The last thing is that there is a bracket on the starter attached to the engine block. If anyone can help me out with the wiring, I would appreciate it a lot.
