RE: FLCaddytech, leaking rear shock
Most times our customers have no clue that there shocks have been leaking. Only a small deterioration in ride quality. More notiable over bumps and rough roads. A rear shock shouldn't be too much, i can't say i remember seeing a leaker on a late model Deville yet.

RE: FLCaddytech, leaking rear shock
You couldn't miss the leak. It was all over my driveway. Dealer suggested I replace both which I did. Another $574. I do notice a diiference in the ride and handling. Another note, the service manager told me me the mechanic couldn't believe it when I was able to connect that rubber steering boot to the rack by just jacking the car up and doing it from underneath. He said it's hard enough when the car is on the rack.
